Privacy policy

Owlproof is operated by Mako Logics LLC. Right now this site does one thing: it takes waitlist signups for a product that hasn't launched. So this policy is short.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, when you signed up, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address (we never store the IP itself). The hash and user-agent exist to spot abuse, nothing more.

We also keep our own basic visit counts: which pages were loaded and from what referrer, again with hashed IPs. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate performance data. No advertising trackers, no cross-site anything, and no cookies for any of it.

What we do with it

One thing: email you about Owlproof's launch. We don't sell the list, rent it, trade it, or "share it with carefully selected partners." There are no partners.

Getting deleted

Email support@owlproof.app from the address you signed up with and we delete your row. Every launch email will also carry an unsubscribe link that works the first time.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting), both in United States data centers. The waitlist form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes the check under Cloudflare's own privacy terms.

Changes

When Owlproof launches as a real product, this policy will grow to cover the product, and the date above will change. We won't quietly expand what we collect under an old date.
